Cars to look out for in 2019

December 21st, 2018

Every year brings new vehicles to the market, some more appealing than others. Since vehicle leasing is continuing to rise in popularity, especially amongst businesses, we wanted to explore and share some of the vehicles that you could be enjoying in 2019.

Remember, these are just a few of the vehicles that we’ll be keeping our eye on, there are plenty more being bought to the market that we haven’t mentioned, but we’ll be sure to update the article in the New Year.

Audi Q4

With an estimated price of £30,000, the Audi Q4 is rumoured to be a rival for the BMX X2.

This combination of high-riding SUV and lower coupé means that drivers who have driven bigger cars for several years have something to look forward to.

This stylish, compact design comes in traditional petrol or diesel, but for the environmentally conscious, there’s also the option to go for the plug-in hybrid or electric model.

BMW 3 Series

These vehicles may already be familiar on our roads, but when a manufacturer is already providing the world’s leading medium-sized car, why shouldn’t they introduce an upgraded model?

It may be similar in design to the previous version, but the technology has all been upgraded and there’s even more interior space. It should hit the markets in March 2019, and will have a starting price of £33,610.

Cupra Ibiza

The Cupra Ibiza is one of the smaller vehicles to watch out for next year, and should hit the markets in Summer 2019 with an estimated price of £20,000.

This high-performance version of the smaller Ibiza has a 200hp engine, and is the ideal addition to any fleet that has to regularly travel long distances. Based on the design and the potential inclusion of so many additional features, we can’t wait to see how the car drives.

Mercedes GLE

Rumours have it that the Mercedes GLE will be on sale in either January or February 2019, with an estimated price of £55,000.

From what we’ve seen so far, this new model is far more modern than it’s predecessor and comes with a whole host of cutting-edge technology, including air suspension that links to a camera, adjusting individual wheels before they go over potholes.

There’s even the option for seven seats in this upgrade.

Mini EV

In late 2019 and with an estimated price of £25,000, an all-electric mini will join their existing plug-in hybrid vehicles next year. Mini has promised new battery technology too, so it will be interesting to see how the range is impacted on this smaller, more versatile vehicle.

Peugeot 508 SW

Despite having a slightly smaller boot when compared to previous models, the January 2019 launch of the Peugeot 508 SW is something to look forward to.

This manufacturer is working on shifting their image to be more upmarket, and this vehicle is no exception. With an estimated price of £27,000, the petrol and diesel models will go on sale first, and a plug-in hybrid will be added later in the year.

Toyota RAV4

Reports say that this vehicle will be available for sale in early 2019, with an estimated price of £28,000.

A key player in the SUV market, the Toyota RAV4 will give drivers the option to take the vehicle offroad with its reduced overhang and a slightly higher ride.

The interior has had an upgrade thanks to a sharper design and more padding. Packed with safety features, it’s an ideal vehicle for both business and personal use.
