"Thanks to everyone at GKL for the good service all the years we’ve leased from you. Its very much appreciated"

"GKL are noticeably a smaller company than some of the market leaders and this was a factor which I found appealing. I have experienced first hand the problems which can be caused by dealing with large companies who have high turnovers of staff and an impersonal approach to business. The structure of GKL's organisation is such that many core functions are handled through one or two nominated people, thus allowing us to build up good working relationships and giving us quick and easy access to the information we need."

"I felt that the prices detailed in GKL's tender submission were a fair and realistic judgement based on the market at that time. On meeting Richard Kenning (GKL Director) and Brian Bowen (GKL Business Sales) they demonstrated a down to earth, practical, common sense approach to all aspects of this service provision and are prepared to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of Cheshire County Council. All dealings with GKL Leasing have been prompt and efficient, from the requesting of prices to the establishment of processes to assist both parties."

"GKL appears to have a broad knowledge of public sector operations and already have well established links with their provision of vehicles to the NHS. In addition, their knowledge and network of contacts for the provision / conversion of accessible or commercial vehicles is of benefit in a climate where budgets are being reduced and therefore more commercial vehicles are being leased instead of purchased. The sourcing of “less conventional” vehicles has been a problem area for us in the past."

"Cheshire County Council have recently tendered and awarded contracts for the provision of Contract Hire vehicles. GKL Leasing is one of three companies to have now been awarded a contract. GKL were chosen because they adopted a very flexible approach to this contract and have readily accepted Cheshire County Council’s terms and conditions despite some variances from their normal practice. This includes such things as: waiver of administration charges for handling fixed penalty notices/speeding fines; mileage over/under adjustments being calculated at our standard agreed rates; method of calculating termination fees; assessment and recharging for non fair wear and tear items at the end of contract etc."
